Sewing Masks

Attention: These tutorials/patterns are for non-stretchy fabric. T-shirts are jersey fabric, which is stretchy, so you may need a different pattern.

• Facemask: A picture tutorial. Button Counter. Comment by a friend:
  • felt these were more adjustable than some of the more form fitting styles. i made them with straps not elastic because when [my friend] was testing elastic she was having a hard time getting it to fit comfortably
  • i put the mask right sides together with the straps sandwiched inside and serged them
  • If you aren't double layering them then I probably would add layers or pocket for filter. (Unless maybe they are to keep you from spitting at other people)

  • You need an IG account to see the stories with the instruction.
    Easy and good to quickly make lots of masks. Doesn't need a printer and is easy to do without a sewing machine.

• Gibt 2 Versionen, 1. ist eng anliegend, die 2. ist gefaltet im Einwegmasken-Style.
• Alle Kommentare sind für die Version 2 (Faltenmaske, die ist universeller von der Passform)
  
  • Die Version mit den Falten sitzt sehr gut.
  • Man kann sowohl einen Filter (z.B. Küchenrolle) als auch Drahtbügel für die Nase einsetzen.
    Muss man aber nicht, geht auch ohne gut.
