There's a ton of communication apps out there. Which to use for which situation? This list is focused on voice and video chat.chat

• Skype: Everyone has it, works well.
• Jitsi Meet: Easy video chat in the browser. Create room, share link, done.
• Zoom: For bigger meetings and lectures and the like.

• Mumble: Self-hosted, intended for gaming, works well as a hang-out-spot.
• Discord: Also intended for gaming. Web and app frontend, voice and text chat.
