# Communicating and Working from Home

Most of us are unused to working, keeping in contact with friends, and generally functioning while stuck at home. Here's a few things to help you make it work. ### Communication Apps

There's a ton of communication apps out there. Which to use for which situation? This list is focused on voice and video chat

- [Jitsi Meet](https://meet.jit.si/): Easy video chat in the browser. Create room, share link, done.
- [Zoom](https://zoom.us/): For bigger meetings and lectures and the like.

# Sewing Masks

**Attention**: These tutorials/patterns are for non-stretchy fabric. T-shirts are jersey fabric, which is stretchy, so you may need a different pattern.

### English

    - felt these were more adjustable than some of the more form fitting styles. i made them with straps not elastic because when \[my friend\] was testing elastic she was having a hard time getting it to fit comfortably
    - i put the mask right sides together with the straps sandwiched inside and serged them
    - If you aren't double layering them then I probably would add layers or pocket for filter. (Unless maybe they are to keep you from spitting at other people)

        Easy and good to quickly make lots of masks. Doesn't need a printer and is easy to do without a sewing machine.

- **Alle Kommentare sind für die Version 2 (Faltenmaske, die ist universeller von der Passform)**   
    
    - Die Version mit den Falten sitzt sehr gut.
    - Man kann sowohl einen Filter (z.B. Küchenrolle) als auch Drahtbügel für die Nase einsetzen.   
        Muss man aber nicht, geht auch ohne gut.
    - Angela hat die getestet:
    - Bessere Passform wenn sie 2 cm breiter ist als das Schnittmuster. Angela hat dafür eine größere ausdruckbare Schnittmusterversion gemacht, kann sie auf Anfrage verschicken (nicht online weil Copyright)
