Sewing Masks

Attention: These tutorials/patterns are for non-stretchy fabric. T-shirts are jersey fabric, which is stretchy, so you may need a different pattern.

English

• Facemask: A picture tutorial. Button Counter. Comment by a friend:
  • felt these were more adjustable than some of the more form fitting styles. i made them with straps not elastic because when [my friend] was testing elastic she was having a hard time getting it to fit comfortably
  • i put the mask right sides together with the straps sandwiched inside and serged them
  • If you aren't double layering them then I probably would add layers or pocket for filter. (Unless maybe they are to keep you from spitting at other people)
• Mask Tutorial on Instagram, by sugardale.
  • You need an IG account to see the stories with the instruction.
Easy and good to quickly make lots of masks. Doesn't need a printer and is easy to do without a sewing machine.
  • For those without Instagram, A pattern to print is also available.

Deutsch

• Behelfsmaske selber nähen, Burda style.
  • Etwas komplizierter als die oben.
  • Herunterladbares Schnittmuster.
